The “My loans” link for borrowers

Borrowers see what they have borrowed through a personal link, with no account.

“My loans” is a personal page where a borrower sees what they have on loan, what they have returned, and their bookings and requests. They can cancel their own bookings there.

How borrowers get the link

• Receipts and booking emails include it automatically.
• You can send it yourself: go to People, open the person and press Send link under My loans. The person needs an email address.

When the link stops working

For the borrower’s privacy, a link works for 30 days. After that they can ask for a new one on the page, and it’s sent to their email address. A borrower without an email address has to ask you.

Remind borrowers not to share the link, since whoever has it can see their loans.
